A Timelapse I took of Myself and Alin rigging the L’Acoustics SB28 Subs,a total of 12 subs each side using Cardioid preset in 3:1 F:B ratio.
My first attempt at creating a Vlog related to On Site System's Work. In this particular one I discuss my thinking behind the execution of End - Fired Cardioid Subwoofer Configuration using a total of 18 L' Acoustics KS 28 Subs, with 9 per side. Each End Fire is a 3 Rows Deep and each of those rows has a Custom Cardiod Setup made of a total of 3 subs in the ratio of 2:1 (2 Front Facing : 1 Rear Facing). The cardiod configuration is not using the Company default preset of C or Cx. I have done measurements using Rational Acoustics with 3 Mics Placed at 3 different positions. Running backups and having redundant systems right from your playback & Mic inputs to your PA is extremely important for certain events. And this is one such event where I'm doing Systems and am running backups using my @outline_audio Newton. Giving a short tour of the setup and also demonstrating the fallbacks for seemless console switching and PA input changes. Do use earphones to hear it properly. And most importantly all this requires flawless cabling and my colleagues here at @jlive_india : @mahendra_systems, @jwalit_patel_jlive_7 and @kishanrajput8162 have done an amazing job with all of it and put up with all my requests. An interesting thing! Floor Bounce! Normally we have open ground venues with earth/soil or an auditorium which has a nice matting. Little do we understand the difference they make. Today here I'm at 'Ambaji Temple' and our venue has marble flooring, which is comparatively much much more reflective than the other surfaces. I put my mic and this the first thing I noticed, and so this video. And tht's 1 less question, during my next Smaart Training Sessions 😜! Floor Bounce and Ground Plane Mic Placement.
